offramp Posted September 21, 2005 Report Share Posted September 21, 2005 Quick review of last nightHG#1 - First time seeing them, could see a Beta Band influence there, liked the group dynamic, would go see again.Kathryn Sawyers - I'd like to see her in a venue where she could be properly heard. Great voice from what I could pick up.Pip Dylan - Fantastic, could tell he was getting frustrated with the crowd noise though as confirmed when I spoke to him after the gig. Hope that doesn't put him off playing here in the future. [listen up peeps]KBT - As I expected. Ace. New single sounded great and a couple of old faves to keep the Beta crowd happy.All in all, a great line-up. Just wish those cants at the bar would lower the volume a bit.
