Hi Whistle Tester - looking for musicians to form a band hopefully doing both recording and live work but if folks are interested in only doing studio stuff or only live stuff that would be ok as well. Happy to hear from anyone interested

    BIOGRAPHY

On the 9th December 2001 Emma performed her first solo acoustic gig, and has since gone on to carve out a reputation for herself as a fine and much in demand singer songwriter.  She has been compared with artists like PJ Harvey, Suzanne Vega and Harriet Wheeler  from The Sundays. Her first solo demo was recorded by Chris Thomson from The Bathers in 2001, and as a result she has gone on to support various artists including James Grant, Fish,  Midge Ure, Duke Special, Frank Turner, Rose Kemp, Astrid Williamson, The Wrigley Sisters and many more. Previously she has performed with various bands including The Awkwards,  Bad Karma  Those Valentinos, The Love Spells, Elektra Spell, The Deviadas and Baby Karma. She was in the all female pop punk bands Medusa's Curse who supported The Hussy's at Tut's and appeared on BBC Upstaged and then went on to be called The Lady Medusa. She has performed at The Wizard festival and Kendal Calling in the acoustic stage/area. In 2011 Emma performed at The Tall Ships in Greenock on the Sugar Sheds stage and at L Fest. Emma also supported Julie Matthews at Carlisle Folk and Blues Club and more recently she supported Brigitte Aphrodite at the Edge Festival in Cabaret Voltaire.
