  4. Hi Folks,

HellHouse have played a few gigs around Aberdeen and would like to start playing further afield (without going on a tour, so driving there and back in a day). Was wondering what experience the others on this forum had with doing this sort of thing. Also doesn't necessarily have to be a city......

Did you just phone up and pester them until you got a gig? What venues did you find were decent for bands that have zero following in these places? Any experienced tips for doing this sort of thing?

Thanks in advance for all your replies

  5. Hi there, the band name is Hellhouse.

To start with it will be a three piece but will keep eyes open for a hammond player to fatten the songs.

Influences range from classic bands such as Zeppelin, Sabbath, Humble Pie etc.... to more modern bands like Tool, Black Crowes, Black keys and Philip Sayce to name just a few.

All songs are original although would be nice to build up a small collection of covers we can pull out the bag if needed.

If you are interested pm me with your background and we can take it from there.

    Cheers

  6. New Aberdeen based band requires a Bassist (18-28) to complete a powerful rock trio. Band name, website, myspace all sorted. Songs are written and roughly recorded for composition purposes, the two of us have been jamming away and have done as much as we can do without the bottom end.

Would be great if you can provide backing vocals but can overlook this if you are pretty good.

    Cheers

    Ry
