  1. His Name Is Codeine is on the look out for a new band member, ideally with keyboard/synth ability and possibly for some third guitar work at times, harmonies would be a bonus but not essential.

We are based in Elgin but will be rehearsing (with new drummer) in Aberdeen from late December.

Anyone with any noise making potential please give us a shout, we are open of mind.

  2. For anybody who will be in Glasgow this weekend.. His Name Is Codeine support 93MillionMilesFromTheSun on Friday night at the 13th Note before taking the show up the road to Tunnels 2. For fans of noise/shoegaze/psych.... £5 on the door (the second door). This will be our first jaunt to Aberdeen since the Stanley album launch in April!! There are new songs to be heard.

  3. Wish I could say I was downsizing, but no, my habit's getting out of control, and I need more pedalboard real estate. I'm selling my Diago Gigman, it's 60cm by 30cm. I've had it for a good few years and it's been with me to every gig I've played in that time; still in really good nick, nice and sturdy.

At the moment I've got 10 pedals and a power supply in it. That's about the average it holds, although you might manage to squeeze a few more in if you've got more "Boss-sized" stompboxes. Here's a pic:

It's the same as this one: http://www.gak.co.uk/en/diago-gigman-pedal-board/30307

Looking for £40 or very near offer.

    Interested. Send you a pm.

  4. For sale is a Marshall JCM 900 Hi-Gain Dual Reverb 4100 100 Watt Head + 1960A 4x12 cab.

They are 1993 models. This half stack was bought new by a friend in 1993 who wanted to learn guitar. However, after buying this great amp he then gave up learning. So this amp has only had a few hours of home use and never been gigged. It has sat in a garage since, so the screw heads look a bit rusty, but the tolex is immaculate. It really is in great condition and you'd struggle to find a better example. It has just been looked over by a reputable amp tech. It had the valves re-biased and a new output transformer fitted which came from Marshall. I have the receipt for this. So you can be sure it is in fully working order. Sadly there is no footswitch with this amp but these can be bought easily. This will be a great amp for somebody. I will easily sell the amp or cab separately. Message me if you have any questions or to arrange to come and view it.

    600. ELGIN
