  1. 8 zeros are still looking for a lead vocalist and a keyboard/synth player to re-create the alt-rock sounds of the 80s. So if youre into bands like Joy Division, The Cure, Killing Joke, Bauhaus, Echo & the Bunnymen or synthpop bands such as Depeche Mode, Ultravox, Soft Cell, etc., or just into music in general and willing to have a go at songs from that era, we want to hear from you.

  2. Bass player and guitarist/vocalist looking for drummer and second guitarist to jam and gig with. Age range 30-45, influences include The Smiths, Stone Roses, The Jam, The Charlatans, Led Zeppelin. Looking to jam once a week, and gig as often as anybody is clever/foolish enough to put us on, playing original material; some tracks already written.

    Cheers

  3. Hey, i'm a 20 year old rhythm guitarist and i'm looking to put together a pop-punk/hardcore band to write our own material and gig as soon as possible. You're the first person i've contacted so far...would you be interested at all?

    Cheers.

    P.S

If you are interested and know any other suitable band members, let me know.

    PM'd you.

  4. Three piece band (guitar, drums, bass) looking for a vocalist. Age, gender, hair colour, inside leg measurement, etc., all unimportant, just an ability to add some vocal colour to our unique blend of noise (a metal drummer, a jazz/blues guitarist and an indie bass player; an interesting combination that seems to work......). Ability to play an instrument not a requirement, but would certainly not be a disadvantage.

    Cheers

  5. So you are having trouble with Drummers, what a bunch they are, that said, I can't get a listen to your project 6 sounds, the myspace is playing silly buggers, but if you want to jam anytime I'll bring the Toast.

The project that I've been trying to pull together over the last couple of months is now lying in taters and I think it's time to just walk away from the wreck and start again.

You could send me a couple of your songs to my e-mail, designit@hotmail.co.uk and you can hear a few jams of mine on Phat Phils Phunk on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads these are from last year and it's high time to record some new stuff. Have a quick listen and give me a shout, I really need to 'Blood in' my new Hi-Hats and get out playing again... Phil

Phil, I'm the bass player with the band looking for a drummer (the thread you posted to). We're jamming tonight at Musical Vision in Aberdeen at six o'clock until eight; can you make it? Apologies for the short notice.

    Cheers
