  2. Anyone out there got a DW Acoustic kit who would like to swap it for a Roland TD-12 Electronic kit?

    TD-12 is in excellent condition.

Kit has TD-12 sound module, all mesh pads - snare pad, 3 tom pads, bass drum pad.

Hi Hat pad on Big Dog hi-hat stand

    Big Dog bass drum pedal.

3 off 3 trigger cymbal pads - 2 currently set up as crash cymbals, 1 as ride cymbal.

Also have Roland PM-3 drum monitor system.

    PM-3 has 2 x 50-watt speakers with 4-inch woofers, 2-inch mid-range speakers, and 1-inch tweeters; 100-watt Active Dual-Drive woofer system with two 10-inch speakers.

Bought this to record with but am now finding that I dont have as much time as I am out gigging more.

Sold my acoustic kit to buy these a year ago.

Need a good acoustic kit for gigging again.

Would like any decent DW kit with hardware and cymbals.

However, would consider any other type of professional kit (Premier, Tama, Ludwig, Pearl, Yamaha etc.)

  3. Hey folks,

All Jacked Up - 6 piece country band are looking for a new bass player.

Ideally a bass player who has a background playing country music and who likes country music....male or female.

    The band line-up consists of

    Male Lead Vocalist/Rhythm Guitar

    Female Lead Vocalist/Rhythm Guitar

    Lead Guitarist/Backing vocals

    Pedal Steel Player

    Drummer/Backing Vocals

and of course the current bass player who has decided to hang up his guitar.

We play a mixture of country music from old style to modern country.

We practice in Inverbervie with most of the band from between Montrose and Aberdeen.

Gigs already lined up in Stonehaven, Thurso, Inverness, a few in England.

Please dont apply if you are only in it for the money....as none of the rest of us are.

We all just want to play good country music and have fun.

  4. ALL JACKED UP - COUNTRY BAND

Looking for a male rhythm guitarist/lead singer to join existing female singer, lead guitarist, bass player, pedal steel player and drummer.

We are an established band but have recently parted company with male lead singer.

Drummer lives in Inverbervie where we practice in his studio.

Female Lead singer is the drummer's sister, she lives in Ellon.

Pedal steel player lives in Portlethen.

    Lead guitarist lives in Montrose

    Bass player lives in Dundee.

No age limit on new singer/rhythm guitarist as the ages in the band vary from 32 - 65.

We play old and new country from the likes of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Martina McBride, Dixie Chicks, Gretchen Wilson, Shania Twain, Alison Krauss.

New singer/rhythm guitarist desperately needed for 2010 gigs.

We have our own PA system and band transport, all new guy would need is a good guitar, amp and good country voice.

  5. If anyone's looking for a good snare drum, this is definatley the one to buy.

I have one the same apart from mine is the maple version.

This is the one I am selling with my Premier Artist Maple kit. (see my thread)

Best snare drum I have had in the 25 years I have been playing drums.

SO GO AHEAD AND MAKE THIS GUY AN OFFER IF IT'S ONLY A SNARE DRUM YOU ARE AFTER, OR BUY MY KIT IF IT'S A COMPLETE KIT YOU ARE AFTER

  6. Roland td-12 is one awesome elctronic kit

Anyone who is thinking about buying a decent electronic drum kit should really get in touch with this guy.

I've had my TD-12 for a week now and am totally amazed by it.

It just feels so much like a real acoustic kit.

The sound from the cymbals are so real.

His price is a decent price considering he has 2 additional cymbal pads.

Just wish we hadn't had a mix up with the emails or I would have bought them from him.

SO GO ON, SOMEONE MAKE THIS GUY HAPPY AND BUY THIS AWESOME ELECTRONIC KIT

  7. MACKIE SR1522z PA SPEAKERS FOR SALE

No longer required as we have moved on to a BOSE L1 system.

    These speakers are awesome.

Discontinued now, but they are only 2 years old.

They are 500W each, having a 400W amp and a 100W amp built in.

    Each cabinet has 2 x 15" Drivers and a 1.75" Horn.

Here's what Mackie say about them

The Mackie SR1522z is a high output, horn-loaded, 2-way, wide-dispersion, Active sound reinforcement system. The SR1522z pumps bodacious waves of funkitude with its integrated 500 watts of Mackie amplifier power, Active electronics, and dual precision 15" and 1.75" transducers all self-contained in a tuned wooden enclosure because wood just sounds better.

For more information on these, have a look at the mackie website page

    http://www.mackie.com/products/sr1522z/index.html

These speakers cost me 1700 2 years ago and haven't had much use really as we only used them at big gigs (using our Mackie SRM450's most of the time)

Would be great for a loud band looking for a loud PA.

    TAKE NOTE

These speakers are big and really are a 2 man lift.

    1.27m high x 0.5m wide x 0.46m deep

Selling for 750....can even deliver depending on distance

That's why I have my Premier Artist Maple kit in for ONLY 750.

This the last of the handmade Premier kits before they started getting them made in Japan.

The 5 piece shell pack was 700 when purchased new.

I then spent 210 on 3 boom cymbal stands, 60 on snare stand, 75 for Big Dog hi-hat stand, 65 for Big Dog Bass drum pedal, over 800 on the Sabian Cymbals, almost 200 on cases, just spent 200 on new Aquarian heads.

    This is over 2000 spent.

So, i think my price of 750 is quite good, but I am open to serious offers
