  1. Are you sure you're talking about the same "Crash"?

The JG Ballard book is completely different from the Paul Haggis movie - which is about racism and bigotry.

It was filmed back in 1996 (see link) Crash (1996) and directed by David Cronenberg

Noted and edited... 1996 version - wrong director :s

Great start Za LOL... I blame it on early mornings :ding:

  2. Although one guy on Northsound has a wierd Scottish/Yorkshire crossover accent going on, what's that all about?

Maybe he's trying to widen his demographic? Push both, one for the local listeners and play with the other for the online streamers... that or they pulled him up from the Yorkshire studio and he's been here a wee while.

  3. House is a brilliant show... Season Six should be out in the States next month which is eagerly awaited. As for the finale of Season Five, how you could not want more after that I don't know! I do have a little smug satisfaction knowing that they didnt want a British actor to play House and Laurie was then praised by the Director for being a great 'American actor'. Still makes me chuckle.

  4. Watched Crash, having read the book by J.G. Ballard.. Reminded me a little of Short Cuts etc - that whole idea of bringing the little stories together that are interconnected. Not an exact translation of the book by any means, if anything its been made a lot milder by David Cronenberg but worth a watch anyway. Its only 3 in HMV too!
