The Twin has long gone Graham. I had swapped them for Eminence Legends and was going to make a cab with Fenders but I don't need it now.

Got Graeme Mennie of Kinnelar Guitar Studios to do it. Gave it to him yesterday and got it back today, good man Graeme, thanks mate.

Seriously, try the Squier Classic Vibe, seriously great guitar.
+1 on that. Stewart Ward (Session fame) stopped using his all original 66 in favour of the Classic Vibe 60's, he says it plays and sounds better.

Every time I've fucked up a wiring job (which is a lot) I've had Matt fix it for me, and he's always done a sterling job at a very reasonable rate.
Thanks for your help, very much appreciated.

What's the problem? Changed pups on a Gretsch once so I'd imagine it's the same sort of set-up.
On the Gretsch the difficultie was getting in and out through the f-holes, I tied thread to the pots before removing them to unsolder.
Did that but I have no idea how to actually wire the new pickups up, they are 4 conductor whereas the Epi pickups only have one wire and I know it must be simple but I just don't have the time right now to experiment with it. I would prefer someone who knows what they are doing to have a look at it.

Tried to replace the pickups in it today and have got myself in a complete mess. I have done hundreds of Fenders without a problem but got totally lost with this one. Anyone know of someone who could take over and finish the job ? Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire.
