Howdy all, I'm looking to make a country based rock band based on the likes of Hank Williams III, The Allman Brothers, Sam Bush, Lynyrd Synyrd. I'd also love to include some blues and surf into the mix just to mash it up a little. Anyways, I'm looking for 2 or 3 guitarists with their own electric and acoustic guitars, a halfway decent bass player, a drummer and a singer. If all goes to plan then I would be playing mandolin but if not I can fill in any of these positions except for vocals and drums. I am a jazz guitarist looking to join a jazz band as nobody else that I know that can play on instruments really likes jazz. I dont have a preference for what type of jazz it is (gypsy, smooth, contemporary etc.) and I'm a flexible person who is always available to practice.
