Friday 2nd March @ Snafu.
2 weeks on Friday we host our first party of the year with residents Squelchy, Krazzy Martin and Hot City's Youlap plus JACKMASTER from the Numbers crew and also DJ Mag's 'Break through DJ of 2011'.

Jackmaster is one of, if not THE, best party starters in the UK today. Crowned by DJ mag as Best Breakthrough DJ of 2011, last year was definitely the Glasgow born selectors year.
Playing parties like Bestival, RockNess, Sonar and numerous apperances at the Boiler Room he is a central part of the iconic Numbers crew which also includes Jamie XX, Hudson Mohawke and Rustie. Back in May Jack also released a highly acclaimed mix CD for Fabric before laying down an almighty party podcast for Resident Advisor.
With his crate full of hip hop, house, detroit techno and 80's jams you can't help but jack your body.

We are a collective of DJ's, promoters, artist and creative individual that come together now and again to host original parties in new and interesting locations in Aberdeen.
We are not a club night, we are a party! We host parties before the clubs open and offer the best pre-club warm up at intimate locations.
We have taken huge inspiration from the Boiler Room (

) and are going to offer a local version of the interactive party by streaming our events live and then uploading recordings of each DJ set onto our website.
'The Eclectic Cats' are a posse of Aberdeen's best DJ's all playing something a little bit different. Our DJ's are all established club disc jockeys who will be mixing together house and reggae, funk and hip hop, post dubstep and soul.
It's a party, not a club night.
We are always on the look our for creative people to get involved, send us a private message telling us a little about you and what you like to do.
We will soon be releasing details of our first party in 2012.

Believe it or not, but its that time of year again. All over the world, a receptionist takes advantage of the coffee boy, the boss gets a Glasgow kiss from one of his team and the super friendly 50 year old+ canteen lady gets a little too excited on sherry and is in taxi home at 8pm. In the words of Noddy Holder "It's Christmas"
To celebrate this wonderful time of year we'll be decorating the club in a warm Christmassy theme and have some mulled wine to give away completely FREE for the early birds (red robins to be more precise).
We would like to encourage Christmas theme fancy dress for this night and anyone in a Mr or Mrs Santa costume gets FREE entry all night.

Along the lines of Boys Noize, Fake Blood and Brodinski, Sound of Stereo produce some of the biggest electro tracks in the world, we are delighted to have them come to Snafu for our 3rd Birthday party.
Releasing tracks on Steve Aoki’s label Dim Mak and the respected Lektroluv, the duo from Belgium having been dropping floor fillers around the globe. Their biggest tune to date Zipper, absolutely stormed into every big club and festival and earned them DJ slots including headlining last years I Love Techno. Remixing Proxy’s Vibrate and ZZT’s ZZafrika on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings, cemented Sound of Stereo as one of Europe’s most sought after production/DJ talents around.
It’s been a mental year for us - moving to Snafu, welcoming two excellent new residents and mad parties with Zombie Nation, Foamo, Drop The Lime and Clouds as well as one wild beach(sort of) party.
We thank you for continuing to party with us.

We are excited to welcome back one of our favourite and most regularly booked guests, Foamo.
This will be the fourth time weve welcomed, London based Kye Gibbon, to party with us but this will be his first time to play Snafu.
Kye first came to Aberdeen back in May 2009 before returning for our 2nd birthday in October 2010. He also joined us in Perth alongside friend Hostage and Scotlands very own Clouds.
Kye first came to our attention with releases like Moving It over Here, Everything Cool, Rockerman, as well as remixes of Franz Ferdinand, Mystery Jets, Man Like Me and La Roux. Last year Foamo had a list of hits including the huge tune Superman with Lee Mortimer and his remix of Diplo & Laidback Lukes Hey! As well as remixes for Drop the Lime and Major Lazer he has also produced some big tunes like Centavo, Generate Some Heat and more recently Celestrial.
The 23 year old, already hold a residency with Chew the Fat! in London as well as playing their parties in Ibiza with We Love... Space. This is his 2nd year as a resident for Space on the while island and has some big parties lined up this summer supporting Tensnake (live), Claude Von Stroke, James Zabiela, Simian Mobile Disco and Justin Martin.

Drop the Lime, (born Luca Venezia in New York City) is a producer, DJ, singer, guitarist and founder of the Trouble & Bass.
Over the years, he has created his own distinct twist on the Trouble & Bass sound and now combines his love of Rockabilly with his own take on bass-driven music.
He has remixed the likes of Armand Van Helden, Little Boots, Robyn, Moby, Rex the Dog, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip and Buraka Som Sistema as well as consistently releasing tracks on imprints like Tiger Bass, Institubes as Curses!, and of course T&B.
Last year his highly acclaimed FabricLive CD dropped with an array of rockabilly, mixed with bass ridden tracks from L-Vis 1990, Foamo, French Fries and AC Slater.
Lucas debut album is out later this year on Ultra Recordings and the first single from that album Hot as Hell is already a cool kid classic.

Snafu are pleased to announce the latest installment to their dot to dot Friday night programme currently housing established parties such as Minival, Bigfoot's, Tuff Wax, Let It Bleed, Dubpressure and Mixed Bizness.
Krazzy Martin & Friends which kicked off in January 2012, is set to allow Everything Else Sucks resident Krazzy to programme a Friday night with guests from Aberdeen and across the UK who are currently playing the most interesting club focused music.
With plans for intimate after parties into the early hours, exclusive recordings of each night and some stellar guest bookings in the pipeline, summer is looking good..
This month Krazzy Martin casts his net wide across the bass spectrum with Ch£ap Date, resident selector at one of Aberdeen's most forward thinking clubs nights Acid Thunder (see Elijah & Skilliam, Egyptrixx, Eclair FiFi), joining NoFace (Electrikal Sound System), who makes the short flight from Glasgow with his powerful record box.
