By the way i should have mentioned...if anyone is interested, BIG bonus points if you can sing to!

Im the current guitarist in local band One Night Stand and we are currently looking for a bass player and a second guitarist, a bass player is the most important thing just now but we have been toying with the thought of a second guitarist for a while now! We were based in Keith but a couple of us are moving to Aberdeen to go to Uni, so where we would practice were not quite sure yet, but transport can be arranged.

Cheers folks! Our CD is now officialy out, with 9 tracks (ymight think its a bit much for a first cd, but hey, we were told if we did that amount we'd get it for free, and we had the songs anyways)

Were not sure when or where were playing next actualy, were on a bit of a break really, our bassist has shot off to Peru for a month to build schools or something, but when hes back were hoping to get a few gigs in aberdeen and finaly get this CD launched! And the lyrics are written by our singer, Jasmine.

We played a gig yesterday at the tunnels in which the band following us came right on stage and started setting up before we even started getting our own stuff off! And they didnt even say a word to us, it just really pissed me off.

Yeah weve been thinking of changing the name, we just want to make sure its a good one.

You might struggle at the moment because of your age, but it's worth contacting venues like Moshulu, Drummonds and The Tunnels to see if there are any support slots going.

Yeah we could try contacting them, but we dont know how...ah young and naive were just struggeling along tryin to get gigs in places closer to home, but Aberdeen is the place we wanna try and hit eventualy.

Due to being as young as we are though, we dont know much other than how to get a gig in our home town, how would we go about getting gigs in like aberdeen?

But cheers, and yeah were young, im the guitarist and im 17, the drummer and bassist are also 17, and the singer is only 15!
