i've just started a sludgey sort of band with a mental drummer, we've started writing some tunes and are lookin for a bassist.

Fluent Bass player wanted for Post/Sludge/Doom Band, Guitarist and Drummer have jammed a few times, we have started writing our own material, sounding like a mix of Mastodon, Pelican & Baroness.

i won this from GAK earlier in the year, used it once for about half an hour and don't think i'll be using it again would be selling it for 200 or a decent trade. It's boxed, including all the leaflets and flyers and such. I've also got a Korg ToneWorks AXG5 pedal I'm wanting rid of, can't remember how much i paid for it tho.

I'm currently playing in Emeritus, but the way things look just now, I'm looking to form something new, possibly in the same vein my influences include Mastodon, Kyuss, Melvins, The Obsessed, Sleep, Trouble, Down, The Sword, Saviours, Baroness, Crowbar, Torche, Neurosis, Pelican, Cathedral and so on.

Would be looking to form a 3 or 4 piece, ideally 2 guitars, bass, drums and shared vocals, in a similar style to those mentioned above. If anyone is interested leave a reply or a PM.

awesome list of influences. i play guitar in a groove metal sort of band. i'm looking to make some noise like that stuff tho. i have a drone doom band thats just sort of starting just me, my mate on drums and a shit load of fuzz!
