I need some replacement parts for my boss GT3 Guitar Pedal, the Level at the back of the pedal is broken.

I can't find parts for it.

Can anyone help?

When we getting together then folks? Would be best to meet first, see what we all can do, get to know each other then make a set list from there? Try and get a regular time slot each week to practice etc.

I was a guitarist for my band in Peterhead called "The Sounz" but we only ever did a few gigs. The singer left due to other non music commitments, the drummer and I like very different styles of music (he likes pop and I like rock) and the bass player is unavailable a lot of the time. I'm desperate to get out playing every week and playing the style of music I want to play.

Would be looking to start or join a rock band like. I have about 8 songs ready to give a band and another 4 or so in the pipeline. My favourite artists include AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, Europe, Gary Moore, Guns N Roses, Kiss, Oasis, Queen, Rainbow, Roxette, Stone Roses, Survivor, Velvet Revolver etc.

My favourite styles of music are Rock Ballads, Hard Rock & Blues.

I'm pretty commited, I've only been playing 3 years, started getting into lead a bit now. I'm 21 years old. I'd be willing to travel into Aberdeen for practices etc.

Let me know if any of you's are interested.

I have this Rock Ballad I wrote and it's almost finished, except I need a good vocalist. I did have someone but think he's too busy with other things.

We are from Peterhead and we're still unsure what to call our side project. We are between 18-22 years old.

We're kind of doing these recordings as a side project. So not looking for commitment just looking for someone to put good vocals to what we think are good songs. So someone who could sing a variety of styles would be good so we could get a "familiar" sound for our recordings. Would have to be a male though I'm afraid.

Hi everyone

After being very unhappy with the quality of recording Captain Tom's produces my band have decided to invest in some home recording gear. We've bought a computer hi spec specifically for recording and have Aardvark pro q10 and Cubase (i forget which version).

How difficult is it to attain good quality home recordings and is mixing etc hard to do?

Just any other tips would be welcome too.

I'd be interested in joining a band with you. I am a huge fan of Dream Theatre and like the other bands you mentioned too. Where are you based?

Been to see Dream Theater twice like. Newcastle and Glasgow both 2007. Our last guitarist introduced me to them, he could play a lot of their songs.

We're based in Peterhead if you're interested.

We have a bass player and singer (who also plays keyboard).

We have some covers lined up (Bet you look good on dancefloor, mr brightside, wonderwall etc).

I've written a couple of songs too, looking to get working on them as a band as soon as possible.

We're based in the Bloo Toon! I have a couple new tunes writeen (not footie ones, don't worry), I'm very varied in styles, don't want to get caught up in genres. Want to try a bit of everything, blues, heavy, indie etc. Will be a rock band but you get my idea.

Our influences include AC/DC, Oasis, Stone Roses, Foo Fighters, Muse etc. I like a lot of varied music.

Our lead guitarist (who also provided drums for our only song to date) has had to quit because of other commitments. He was heavily influenced by Dream Theater and Pink Floyd (Petrucci is his idol).

Do you have the time to practice etc? How old are you? We're 20-21 years of age.

Sounds promising like. Last guitarist was influenced by Gary Moore as well. I can play "walking by myself" (rhythm) and I love "partisienne walkways" and "out in the field".

I've been leaving room in my songs I've been writing for solos and stuff.

When do you want to sort a jam for? Singer will be back from holiday today or tomorrow so I can try and get everyone together next week sometime?
