Having followed up their lavishly, and rightly, praised debut album, Young Forever, with the harder-edged Do Whatever Turns You On, Aberfeldy are well on their way to cementing the bands status as one of the best Scotland has produced in many, many years.

Being Scottish, quirky and having female backing singers has led to comparisons with Belle and Sebastian, but the Magic Numbers, Prefab Sprout or even a folkier B52s is nearer the mark.
