nah its fair enough, not everyone will like any type of music, and it would be a naive musician to think that everyone would or to take offence at negative remarks which are inevitable.

me and tom are doing an all day gig on the 24th june so i dunno how many fowk will be about

we were told that gfn dont do metal shows anymore too, but we'll ask and see what happens.

it might be difficult to get a metal show in/around Aberdeen around the 24th anyway due to the Darkest Hour show which is being put on there on the 28th.
