I'm not sure why some of you can only see one photo. The "see all", "landscape" bits in the shop don't work yet, but if you click on our names photos should come up.
What browser are you using paime/bux?
Thanks for your support everyone.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick post to say that a few of us have just launched a new website selling photos taken in and around Aberdeen. If you order quick we can deliver by Christmas.
Thanks.

It's not Cadburys chocolate bars that you should be afraid of.... oh no - it's the deadly dried apricot:

Which is a shame.... I love dried apricots. Although since when can you have a high-moisture dried fruit. Very confusing.

Please don't tell me you thought spoilers' date=' exhausts and alloys. I myself am a country chiel, but I do know what body modding is...[/quote']
Although do remember that if you have fitted a spoiler to yourself, you're not allowed to give blood for 5 years. Something to do with "risk taking behaviours".
-
Sorry to bump up a thread but i read in the donor centre that currently there has been a great decline in the number of donors.
The ammount they need per day is 1000 but currently the average is 880 donors per day.
So if you can give blood then give blood. It doesn't hurt and it's for a great cause.
Or why not go a step further and give platelets - they take your blood out, spin it to seperate the platelets then give you the rest back. It takes about an hour and you have to have had 5 uncomplicated blood donations previously. Platelets only last 5 days, so there's always a desperate need.

For anyone who can't bear the 145Mb file on the Lorelei website, this might be a little more palatable.....

... so what kind of bacteria is that 0.01% that my kitchen cleaner can't kill. Must be a hardy bugger.
On a more boring note - it's probably Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Mark Heap is way way way way way better in Jam and Spaced.
I agree, but then they are very different shows. Green Wing is a light hearted bit of fun, and he plays a great character in it.
Jam is pretty dark affair, and not really prime time friday night viewing. Spaced was also a fantastic show. But still more of a cult affair. He played the artist downstairs, wasn't it?

The disturbing thing is that it is quite possibly the most accurate portayal of a radiologist I have ever seen!
The first series was his best, but seeing him batter to death a green dwarf with a heron...
-
Alright. Somebody has used a marker pen to make some alterations. The badge should read Alan Statham, next line Consultant Radiologist, and on the word consultant, they've blacked out the letters 'o','n','s' and 'l','t','a'.
Legend!

I'm surprised there's so many anti-Moore feelings on here.
Yes, the guy is single minded, and presents a very one sided argument. Yes, he interprets things his way, and presents it as "the only way". And his films use a lot of innuendo and suggestion, but sometimes it takes a person to have an opinion and just go for it, believe in themselves and promote that view as widely and single mindedly as possible.
It will inevitably not be a well rounded view and will have holes in it, but at least he's sticking to what he believes, and not just sitting on the fence. How you then interpret what he is saying is the important part. You have to take it with an element of suspicion and caution, but at least he gets people thinking and talking about issues. Surely that's a good thing.

By the sound of it, he's not actually edited what the soldier said - he's just played it after a congressman saying they're leaving veterans behind. That's not really that much manipulation. Plenty worse goes on during elections.
And more to the point, where the hell did 45 mil come from. That's an absurd amount, that (to me) makes it obvious that he is doing it for publicity. Isn't that manipulation of the media?

christ tell me about it' date=' we drink really good bottles of whiskey in the pissing down rain in woods and forests to hide from police when it should be drank next to a warm open fire with a dressing gown and slippers on, in an expensive crystal glass with two cubes of ice.[/quote']
Ice in a fine whisky..... oh dear. Liking the dressing gown and slippers though. A smoking jacket and cigar would just finish it off.

http://www.shoutwire.com/viewstory/4519/Secret_Flying_Car_Busted_Using_Google_Earth
this one is a fake. you can see the pish photo shop job.
No it's not - you can look it up on google earth yourself!
I'm not saying it is a flying car, mind, but it's not a photo shop job.
-
Or is it in fact a bus shelter with glass sides???
Flossie
I was definately going with a bus shelter too, but having now conducted a thorough search of the Lucky Bay area, i can't find any others..... so unless there's a new bespoke, one-off bus shelter market, I'm going with a flying car!

Speaking of google earth - my old school has got a smiley face with the words tit and cunt written beneath it (you can probably guess where) on the old cricket wicket.
At about 51*23'21" N by 0*0'54" W, if you've nothing better to be doing....

might be heading in to see Bonnie Prince Billy on Monday. There's a decent mix of styles and acts.
I'm off to see BPB next Sunday in Perth - let me know what you think, if you make it.
I've been a fan for quite a while, but am not sure what to expect live..... could be a rather dowdy affair?
-
Bonnie Prince Billy and Matt Sweeny - Superwolf
CocoRosie - Noah's Ark
Leftfield - Leftism
This Mortal Coil - It'll End In Tears
Tom Vek - We Have Sound
Highly recommend Tom Vek and Cocorosie....

So it appears that an excess of alcohol and a lack of viable time travel have (once again) thwarted the feasibility of my rumour?
Damn it - that's another source that I'll have to extract the corneas from.
Wouldn't it be great though! Wouldn't it?

who's Frosty Jack?
A man in the kow, I hope....
