sounds good, im a drummer, 17, pretty much the same infulences but like you say the list is endless, if you want to sort out an audition to see if my drumming's to your liking, pm me with a when and where

obviously i'm a drummer looking for a band, im pretty serious about a band so i'll always be up for a jam, but until i pass my drivin test it's gonna be a bit of chalenge to make into town or where ever the jam is every time.

i'm not too experienced with a band, i've had a few but never gigged just a piss about realy, i am a reasonably good drummer, i can play a beat in my own style but not having been in a band that has taken it seriously so far has left me with little experience in different timings so beats aren't so complex and all over the shop but still good.

influences are : foo fighters, muse, pixies, nirvana...and so on, mainly grunge/alternative styles, so anybody looking for a drummer, give me a pm and we can see what we can sort out.

haha yeah you make a fair point, but i'm not wantin to mix the styles i just want to play the different styles, i'm optamistic about music i don't have a specific taste

drummer/ singer from alford (just outside aberdeen) needs band bad.

im lookin for a guitarist, bassist, pianist and possibally second guitarust and after i've sorted that out a drummer or singer would be usefull, seein as i do both the entire bands decision will tell me what we need.

this band isn't exactly gonna a 100% commital band, i'm sill at school so its gonna be pretty much weekends only that i can jam, don't care what age or what you do just as long as you can play. i am pretty damn serious about startin a band so im not just lookin for a piss about.

the type of music that im lookin to play is a huge variation, goin between alt. rock, emo rock, folk rock, metal, funk, death metal, jazz, pretty much almost any style of playin cos that list goes on and on, so anybody that can improvise with any tune would be could, so sign up all that wish and i should get back to you ASAP

this probably isnt the right forum to be talkin about movies but seeing as it's a damn good movie and its about kurt cobain i thought id bring it up,

anybody seen last days, damn thats a good movie it well made me respect that man on a completely different level, i never realy realised how tormented he was, he was just messed up by the end of his life

yeah too right i agree with ye there, i personally think their pretty good but then again all ive heard are the two songs that are on the t.v. but im gettin the album soon so then i give a more reliable oppinion on them

2. alive - pearl jam (just for the banter haha)

3. jump around - house of pain (always gets a party goin)

anywhoo I need some damn help with making music, well thats not realy the problem, what I want to know is how the hell you come up with lyrics, I have ideas but I don't know how to get on paper and make it seem like...well a song basically, it just seems like random crap to me that has nothing to do with what I'm actually thinking about

anybody willing to help out, anything at all would be appreciated
