EXPERIENCED BASSIST

REQUIRED FOR

CELTIC ROCK BAND

Double-Scotch are an explosive duo based in Aberdeen. Last year, we embarked on a project to form a 4 piece Celtic Rock band. The quality of our arrangements coupled with the experience of our own sound engineer enabled us to connect with a wide variety of audiences. The band went from strength to strength in a very short space of time supporting both Wolfstone and the Bluetones at a number of major festival events in Scotland. With your help - we would like to do the same again!

WE REQUIRE AND EXCEPTIONAL BASS PLAYER to join us in this project in promoting Scottish music in a new light. We have already done much of the ground work which will allow us to get down to the fun stuff without too much delay. Although we have a strong idea about how we would like the band to sound/ perform etc, we are always open to new ideas. Please be advised that although performance sets are based around traditional reels etc there will be nothing traditional about the final product!

I'm an experienced Bassist looking to start a new project. I am based in Aberdeen and have been playing in bands since i was 13 (now 25). Plenty experience gigging and recording locally and nationally.

I'm looking for a songwriter / musicians interested in creating and recording original' date=' new material, and hopefully, in time start gigging. I have a wide range of influences so all styles considered.

I have my own recording equipment and practise room (will have to give this up soon unless i find someone to help with the rent!).

keith, im chris 22 and have been gigging in aberdeen for a few years now! fancy joining a celtic rock band? i was recently involved in a similar project and it went really well. it didnt work out in the end but we supported woolfstone and the bluetones in a matter of months at some big festivals and plan to do the same again - just witha different line up. got all the gear and a fantastic sound engeineer.

line up- electric fiddle, guitar, full kit, keyboard and bass!
