I`m 27 y old bassist/keyboardist with 14 years experience. Looking for band in Aberdeen.

I do not want to play metal or punk. No beginners please.

Our band misses a creative guitarist. Style- rock-pop (with female vocals) aka R.E.M. , Nirvana, The Gathering etc. but individual/melodic stuff. We recorded a demo 3 weeks ago, so if somebody interested i can show the stuff.

Hi All,

Our band(Catch A Fire) needs a guitarist. At the moment we`ve got female singer, drummer, bassist and keyboardist (its me). 2 weeks ago we did an ep-demo with 4 songs, we`ve got just positive feedbacks:-) The style is melodic rock-pop (influances: REM, The Gathering, Nirvana etc.)

The perfect person is

- Can practise with us 2 times in a week, and also home-practises when we do the songs. The practises usually on weekdays (mon-fri)

- Creative. Normally first you should be working together with the keyboardist and if you can do lyrics its not bad

- Can do comprimeses. I know its really hard sometimes...

- Between 20-25 years old

- Experienced. We would like to be professionals, we`re workin very hard. If you hav`nt play the guitar for 6-7 years or more please do not reply.

- Boy or girl? It does`nt matter

- Sense for the melodies. Sometimes we`ve got 20 different chords within one song but its still popular stuff!

- The band in Aberdeen, usually we`re practise in the Captian Tom`s.

We`ve got 6 songs with lyrics already, and we have 2 other . We would like to play 2 covers (Nirvana-Dumb, REM- Electrolite) maybe more.

I would like join a band in Aberdeen. I`m newby here... I`m moved to here from hungary 6 months ago, my english its not perfect (yet).

About me: i`m a 26 years old male. I`m played in a lot of bands in hungary, i have experience with the bass for 12 years. Also i`m play on keyboard for 20 years, i`m learned the piano for 5 years. My instruments are a Peavy 6-string bass, and (from october) a Roland keyboard which is not professional but ok.

My influences comes from: The Smiths, Genesis, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Tangerine Dream, Fields of the Nephilim, New Order, Dead Can Dance, Gary Numan, classical music, etc.

I`m looking for any kind of band just not metal/hardcore or reggae, please:)
