Mature guitarist and slightly younger bassist looking to form covers band.

We need a decent drummer, singer and maybe a keyboard player in their late 20s onwards.

What wed like to do is form a good quality covers band. Weve no plans to take over the world so this is a fairly easy going its for fun, not money and fame!!. Wed like to do a gig every 6-8 weeks or so in and around Aberdeen and practice on a reasonably regular basis.

Wed like to play the kind of stuff that gets a pub bouncing i.e. rock/indie covers.

I'm guessing from the lack of a positive response that the singing part is essential?

Presume you're planning to write new stuff or are you thinking of doing covers too? Is this for gigging or recording or both? Are you thinking world domination or modest gigging etc around Aberdeen?

I'm marginally (!) outside your age range (36) but could do the lead guitar.

Hi - I can't sing at all but I can do the guitar part -would this be any good? Suspect your music style /gig frequency is about spot on for me. Is it covers or your own material?

I'm used to taking the piss out of the bassist but think I might be able to adjust.
