  1. You could try Substation in Rosyth' date=' Chambers in Edinburgh, Cava and Chem 19 in Glasgow or ACR in Dunfermline.[/quote']

One of the guys that works at Chem 19, Ross McGowan, has his own place - Attix Recording in Glasgow. We recorded our demo their last year, 250 for 10 hours, and the results were amazing! The guys a fucking legend, he really knows what he's doing. We spent the full 10 hours just recording the songs and then he took the material, mixed it for us, and then sent us out the demo. It sounds amazing! Definately worth checking out if you can arrange travel to Glasgow. IMO no-where in Aberdeen is really worth going to, fair enough if it's your first demo but if you wan't something really decent then your prob better off going further afield - Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee etc. That's just from my own experience.

  2. Excuse me?!?! I believe I already "started this" you little prick' date=' care to elaborate? I'm sure I've got loads of reasons to be jealous of you too, god I really wish I could play guitar as fast as you as that makes you soooo fucking cool.

Get a life mate, you've spent way too much time in your bedroom wanking away that you've lost touch of the real world. What exactly about Jamesy's post was "pretentious" anyway?

    I look forward to this.[/quote']

Your a fucking wanker. Take your head out of your arse and get off your fucking high horse. Ya bawbag.

  3. but to say its absolute shite is wrong.

No it's not. St Anger is absolute shite.

If someone like Machine Head for example had released it' date=' it would have went down as one of the best things they had done... [/quote']

That's a load of balls. It would have been a shite record regardless of who had released it.

    Metallica have totally lost it.

  4. Gregor's got a point, a street team in/around Aberdeen is kinda pointless as pretty much everyone knows about them and word of mouth would get to those who don't (which is probably very few people), they also seem to fill everywhere they play in and around Aberdeen already. A street team should travel to gigs around the country before they play to drum up support and spark an interest in those who will have never heard of them, not waste time telling fans in Aberdeen about gigs in Aberdeen which they will probably already know about.

  5. Doc' date=' if they're vandalising property, they should be dealt with as ordinary criminals.[/quote']

Granted if that was the case and all they were doing was smashing windows etc then they should be dealt with as ordinary criminals. But that's not all they were doing. Rocks, bricks, bins, fence posts etc were all thrown at the police in a diliberate attempt to cause harm. The police should definately be allowed to retaliate with "non-lethal" wepaons to take those bum fuckers out. Mon' the tazers!

  6. its the total fuckers who go in and "Protest" but end up smashing peoples houses' date=' ruining businesses and being cunts... im sick of them - the Police should be allowed to carry "non-lethal" weapons (notice in quotes...) like rubber bag shotguns and tasers and shit, that'll show em...

For now its awesome to see all those arseholes get a good thrashing - utter fucking cunts the lot of them.[/quote']

    Couldn't agree more.
