  1. Cheers folks :D

I know they're hard to get, well Aenima and Salival anyway.

I can get them all of eBay but I just thought I'd try a few forums 1st.

Never know, someone might need the money for battered mars bars or something.

I actually missed the 3D cover Aenima CD going for about 6 on eBay the other day.... gutting. Still, I'm sure more will appear at some point.

  2. Hello,

I'm after some CDs and a DVD by the band "Tool".

Tool - Undertow (has to have the Crab-esque cover, not the bar-code)

    undertowyc1.jpg

Tool - nima (has to be the one with the "moving" eye cover as pictured below)

    aenimaab8.jpg

Tool - 10,000 Days (has to have the goggle cover as pictured below)

Tool - Salival CD / DVD Box Set (as pictured below)

Both the boxes and CDs / DVD must be in good condition and photos depicting condition would be a bonus.

I can get them all of eBay but that's a last resport.

I can pay with Paypal and will cover fees.... or cash in hand if you're local to the city center.

Let me know what you have... I'll try to check back often but if I go AWOL then send me an email at spakattack [@] googlemail [.] com

    Many thanks,

    Lee

  3. I'm looking forward to hearing the line-up for the Concrete Jungle tent... anything else is irrelevant to me, although there are other bands I want to see.

I've always wondered... why go to Reading when Leeds is closer to Abergloom? I've only ever been to Leeds cos Reading is too far to go for the same bands. The Leeds site looks better too.

  4. The stuff I have to wear to work.... shirts, ties, trousers, shoes etc... feels wrong... like should be up in court or something.

Apart from that... probably a Craig David style woolen beanie someone got me for xmas... needles to say it's never been worn. I love beanies but not that weird tea-coasy type.

  5. I can just imagine some of the kids tomorrow night if I play "Death Disco" and Arab Strap together...

    "Muuuummyyy' date=' I wanna go home!"[/quote']

    lol...

Man, the place would be so much better if that actually worked... most folk in there are deffo under 18 I'm sure of it. I got ID'd once and was so offend... I'm like "I'm twenty god damn four mate! You're letting schoolies in and ID'ing me?"...

  6. lol... deffo seems like a coincidence to me.

I liked Green Day as a kid.... they were responsible for me getting into Punk music. Now though, the whole eye-liner thing just gets on my nerves... they put out the odd good song but it's like they're trying to appeal to Good Charlotte fans or something.... emo.

  7. I'm selling my decks as a complete package type thing. I'm not up for selling individual stuff but I could maybe be persuaded otherwise.

Here's what on offer... all the best money can buy, in excellent condition and less than 2 years old. Over 1600 worth of stuff.

-Vestax PDX-2000 MK1 turntables (far better than Technics for scratching)

    +/- 10% Pitch

    +/- 50% Ultra Pitch

    Pitch Lock

    Reverse Button

Straight Tone Arm For Better Tracking And Amazing Skip Resistance

Far More Motor Torque Than Technics

    Start Speed Adjustment

    Brake Speed Adjustment

    Cost 350 each

-Rane TTM-56 2 channel scratch mixer

Magnetic x-fader and upfaders that will never, ever pop or crackle.

Reverse (Hamster) switch on all faders

    Curve adjustment on all faders

    Channel reverse

    Popless transform switches

    3 band EQ

    Pan switches

    FlexFX for external effects units

    Aux In

    Aux out

    Cost over 600!

    -Sure M44-7G scratch needles

Probably the most popular scratch needle ever, and for good reason as when correctly set-up they just stay locked in the grooves.

    Cost 40 each

    -Butter Rug MK2 Slipmats

Specially designed by DJ Q-Bert to be best for scratching and beat juggling. Really slippy and super thin. MAde from 2 types of material, 1 to grip the record and the other to spin on the platter.

    Cost 25

    -Silver Vestax Headshells

Do nothing other than look cool.

    Cost 15 each

-Replacement Silver front panel for Rane Mixer

Again, does nothing other than looks cool.

    -Fitted AluminiumFlight Cases

Made to fit the Vestax decks.

    Cost 60 each

    -Aluminium Needle Case

Includes the black headshell that came with the decks.

    Cost 15

There's probably more stuff I've forgotten. I've also got a lot of battle wax and scratch tools that I'll be selling too. Too many to list though.

If anyone is interested thenPM me and we'll talk business.

Coupla pics for your viewing pleasure...

Use Google if you need more info on the stuff for sale. Turntablelab.com is a really good site.

  8. Agreed! It's hard to sit still when listening to them. It's just a pity it's on a Monday night. Still, better than a night spent doing fork all i Aberdoom.

Another amazing ska band to check out is The Menace Society, from upstate NY. They have a bit of a Leftover Crack sound, only with more horns and less political statement. Shit hot man I tell thee.

I don't think you can buy their stuff but if you use torrents I could maybe help you out.

  9. Shit hot, I didn't realise they were playing! Is it tickets or just turn up? There's not enough stuff like this in Aberdoom.

Hey Lazy Pixie, just out of interest, I don't suppose you're the lovely Pixie from 1Up who tendered me the sale of 2 Oxymoron CDs yesterday are you?
