The only reason that I joined was the fact that I could post my travel journals up and that I could control who saw them, such as family and friends. Can't be assed paying for anything extra.
Also it shows people that have been to the same places as me, as no one I know has had my experience, it was great to disscuss where I have been with people who were in the same place I was.
The one thing I don't like about on the site, is that I have had some older men tring to send me messeges, and I really cant be assed with that. Its just plain creepy!!
So if anyone knows of a better site that I can use as a secure online diary of travels for family and friends (if they want to know what i'v got up to) then let me know!

Apparently a number of people I know are members or have heard of it. Just wondering how many of you out there are members or have offered to join by friends? Basicly a site to meet people around the world, traveling in particular.

I thought that it was a great movie, improved my my friend's fear of bugs! Some of the parts were a bit predictable tho (for those woh haven't seen the old version or know the story). Also too long!!

my favourite was Voyage of the Dawn Trader' date=' kinda lost interest after at the one with the chair.[/quote']
Yeah The Voyage of the Dawn Trader was the best. I don't think I even got past the first chapter in The Silver Chair (I think it was called that).
It would be interesting to see the film to see what it is actually about!

Nope Peter Jackson did King Kong' date=' the director of Narnia is a good friend of Jacksons and they shot it in New Zealand.
Cheers

Yeah, there was one scene that reminded me of when the the fellowship in LOTL was walking in the snow along the cliff, they used the practically the same camra angle, really cool.

I saw them on video a few years ago when one of my former flatmates bought it. I thought it was totally dissapointing. One of those things that should have stayed a memory. Co-incidently I once worked with the costume designer from the BBC series
You should see the new one - a few of the parts remind me of LOTR, same director I know, but he really does it well.

if you think you actually have a virus
Definately have a virus, having a little difficulty reading the screen as the words are blurry and run into eachother (and in case your thinking, I dont need glasses!). It ramdomly crashes when I try to open some of my files. Also the deaktop is blurry, and just looks really dodgey!

try running all your anti virus stuff in safe mode.
Then after you have done that go to www.trendmicro.com and run the scan there' date=' that SHOULD hopefuly get rid of your problems.
Make sure you have Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware SE and AVG installed on your pc so that you can try and avoid future problems.[/quote']
Thanks, i'll try that. But this pc's so screwed up, most of the time I cant even get as far as my homepage when tring to access the internet. Because of the virus, we can't run or instal anything to get rid of the virus, ironic or what!

Yeah, everyone in my house is bugging my dad to buy a new pc, but he's not giving in........yet!!

Ever since my dad attempted to install a wireless modem for my Laptop, the house computer has been ridden with viruses. Usually it crashes as soon as I click on anything. Tried anti-virus software, but they keep coming back! Damn ethernet!! Any suggestions??!!

Unknown film!
Hey, I saw this film on this sleeper bus the other day on the way to Kunming. I'm sure that is was in English but it was dubbed over in Chinese. I got the jist of it tho. It looked like it was about this Chinese couple and the guy killed this gang leader protecting his girlfriend. Anyway, the gang members hunt them down and they escape to France or somewhere. After getting themselves into even more trouble they go into hiding as the guy joins the army in a random dessert and the girl joins/hides in a nunnery. (I dont know how the film ended as the some chinese policemen decided to raid the bus we were on - twice! SCARY!!! Friendly tho!). As far as I saw (sorry for spoling the storyline) was the gang members finding and killing the girl, and the boyfriend (a weakling to start with, now a musley hard ass guy) starting to hunt them down!!
Anyone seen or know that film?

I just finished The Da Vinici Code and I think that it is a fantastic book! It took me a while to read as I was tring to make it last as long as possible. I think that it is really interesting that there are so mant symbols that have loads of different meanings. I haven't read any more of Dan Brown books, but after The Da Vinici Code I will try them for sure.
