this year's been ..............busy:
got married, then got divorced, currently seeing a great guy (humyum)
sold my flat, bought a big house
sold my dingy wee rustbucket car, bought a nice flash car
been to see Marillion a few times (always good)
caught up with far too many people i'd lost contact with
made some great new friends, met some complete tossers
misjudged some people, those i thought were good friends stabbed me in the back......those i thought were tossers turned out to be nice!
had loads of new experiences, and am still standing at the end of it!
drank far too much (but i have stopped smoking)
going to stay with my friend, the lovely toothfaery, over chrimbo, going away for new year, then i suppose i'll just potter around for the first few months of next year, see what comes my way!
either way, am looking forward to indulging my three favourite pastimes in the new year.......music, shopping (toothfaery taught me all she knows ) and men!
looking forward to meeting new people, having new experiences, and sharing lots of fun and laughter with those lucky people who will be in my company!

sounds like a good time will be had by all

hands down it's
Santa Claus: The Movie
Dudley Moore was born to play patch the elf. I'd say he's a living legend but unfortunately he's dead so I can't.
John Lithgow is purely evil and the candy canes are reminiscent of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Fucking Fantastic.
It's on dvd now too- sainsburys is selling it for 7.99 buy it now and watch it in every month of the year.
Muppet Christmas Carol deserves honourable mention too
seconded! the two best films of the season, in my opinion

Don't think that's a fair comment. I support Partick and that's because I saw them at at dour Gayfield (Arbroath FC) afternoon five years ago and was somehow grabbed by the way they played' date=' and chose to support them from that day forth.
Don't get the idea of supporting a football club just because it's your local, it's like saying you should always drink in your local just because it's closest, when there are better, more exciting pubs elsewhere (perhaps a dodgy analogy, but i hope you see the point....).[/quote']
totally agree with your point. geography shouldn't influence what you choose to follow, or believe in.

thanks for that,
im doing an article on friendships and how they can be forged/broken depending on circumstance, or one person's opinion of right and wrong.
its taking longer than i'd hoped it would, but i am collecting opinions from many different sources, using lots of forums, and the difference is quite staggering.
anyway, once again, thanks for your input
