  1. *Incredibly high-pitched power metal voice*

    "Meeetttaaalllll isssssss forrreeeevvvveerrrrrrrrr!!!!"

Yeah' date=' so like, I met you too then? I was so like, urgh, I didn't even ask, that was rude. Oh well, yeah, an apology, or a beer (or seven) at the festival for that will be waiting for you next time.[/quote']

Yay! I get free beer! Im the one who coincidentally looks VERY similar to my avatar...the one with the mini-mohawk in other words. The girl that was with us was Kimbe, the smaller one with a spongebob bag.

  2. You know when you're in that 1/2 asleep state of mind? Well sometimes i'd be 1/2 dreaming and think i was being possessed, which was actually pretty scary because it felt so real and i thought i was still awake.

Mostly in my dreams im running away from people trying to kill me which is quite worrying, and repetitive. It's like constantly replaying Halloween in my head...except he wants to kill me. I usually wake up just as he is about to stab me.

I have the best/worst dreams though. My friends think i need to see a dream counsellor person because they are so fucked up.

  3. Yeah, Thursday it shall be. We're getting picked up here at 6am, so should be in Aberdeen at like...7-7.15am or thereabouts. But ill pm everybody the exact details as soon as ive gone down to the company to get some written confirmation incase they bullshit us.

Not entirely sure how this payment thing is going to work, we were thinking we'd come into Aberdeen and collect it off you guys, the only problem there being im sure that not everyone will be able to meet on the same day. But fret not, we will come up with a plan!

  4. Right, ill just list names, the first 17 are from the Banff/Macduff area, so you probably wont know them, but might have seen them at gigs, or around Aberdeen.

Myself, spleen_of_gold, Kimbe, Harriet, Phoebe, Slow, Alex, Hutchy, Jamie, Ewan, Stuart, Nick, Jordan, Chapman, Johnny, Karen, Vicki, Johnathon, Kristofer (sp, sorry), Kev, Will, Andy, Hayley, Haigyman + 6, and Demon of the Fall + 2.

  5. Right, spleen_of_gold already posted this, but just to make it even clearer we are looking for more people to fill a bus we have organised. Now it'll be pretty cheap if we fill the whole thing up, so its a 33seater that will be able to stop in Aberdeen to pick anyone else up who wants to come with us, and its return. There are 16 free seats left, and it doesn't matter if you don't know us, Hell you don't even have to speak to us if you don't want to, but we'd appreciate anybody thats looking for a cheaper-than-average way down to help us (and yourselves) out.

The overall cost of the bus hire is 1450, so if we get the full 33 people it's only going to be 44. I also checked out train costs (from Aberdeen to Derby) which would cost you 67.50, so even if we only managed to get 22people altogether, it's still going to be cheaper.

If you are at all interested, or have any questions, then get in touch with either me or spleen_of_gold and we'll get back to you asap.

    Thanks.

  6. Im currently doing Maths, English, Human Biology, Modern Studies and Info Systems. I didn't really know what i wanted to do either, so i took a range of subjects so that i would have options, which in theory i guess is a good idea. Unfortunately, i hate doing info systems, maths and modern studies (even though i liked them at standard grade) and ive now realised my ambition to be a scientist so i should have taken higher chemistry instead of one of those. I also should have taken something else i actually like doing, like art. I can easily do them next year i suppose though.

But i agree with other people, Info systems is easy and Human biology is ace!

Anyways, my advice would be to pick wisely, take something you enjoy, whilst keeping your options open, but maybe take two sciences...i think i just kind of contradicted myself...oh well...

  7. I love toasties and every other sandwich related food thing! I dont understand people that dont like sandwiches.... freaks.

Anyways, i havent experimented a lot with toasties, just sandwiches. I'm more of an old-skool toastie eater, y'know, cheese and beans, or cheese and ham. You cant beat a good bacon and philadelphia sandwich though! Just as long as you cut the bacon up into little pieces and its crispy!

Oh, and did you know that on some jars of Helmans mayonnaise there is a number you can phone for free and they send you a booklet on sandwich fillings? Genius!

  8. I thought it was great, especially since i don't get to go to gigs as often as i would like to. I can't help but be biased about Five Finger Discount too!

Thats the first time ive seen the other bands play though (like i said, don't get to go 2 gigs as much as id like) and they were bloody ace, although i could only stay 4 one song by Broken Sunshine - had to go get the bus home. Probably see them again anyway!

  9. This has to be one of the weirdest drinking stories ever, so i just thought id leave it 4 u all 2 see.

Last night, me and a few friends was having a drink in the woods (as you do), and as i was sobering up, the police came, so we had 2 run into a different part of the woods. Unknown to us, where we just happened to stop and hide, was a wasps hive. So after standing there for about 5minutes, i thought i got stung by a nettle, so i jumped and then it was like a little mexican wave of pain up my legs. Everyone looked at me, wondering what the hell was wrong, and then sum1 shouted "Wasps!".

Me and my friend Steph got hit the worst, we had to run behind a bush and take of all our clothes so we could stop being stung. As that didnt help, we then had to run through the golf course that was next to the woods (still almost topless, i put my trousers back on by this point) to get away from those flying fiends.

Managing to get home about 20minutes later, my mum stayed up with me till about 2-3am, soaking me in vinegar. She counted about 20 stings.

And this morning, i went to put last nights clothes in the wash and found a wasp in my sock.

This story will be hilarious in about a week....
