  1. I have also met them and james does indeed have a mean handshake and is incredibly polite. Wire was an ignorant twat however and sean was pleasant. I got you love us 12" and Slash and burn 12" signed which made me incredibly happy.

Im looking forward to seeing them again. The best time was at leeds festival a few years ago when they played its so easy, archives of pain and used jump by van halen as the intro to motown junk......Lovely stuff.

Thier acoustic rendition of faster on the greatest hits tour was uncalled for though. Its usually the song that gets everyone going but it was just bland.

Still an amazing band who are still releasing good stuff in my opinion as i really liked there by the grace of god, very new orderish. I am looking forward to hearing the new single as i havnt had the chance yet. Anyway thats my fan gushing overwith.

  2. It is my opinion that starting from the beggining and working your way through morrisseys back catalouge in order is a good way to go. I think every album has its merits but obviously some more than others. Viva Hate my personal favorate. The entire back catalouge is cheap as most albums can be bought for a fiver and for the completists all of the singles he has released are available at reasnable prices also as these contain tracks not available on any of the many moz compilations although a word of warning his cover of moon river is to be avoided and preferibly denied that it even exists.

  3. the libertines= uninspired, unorigional shite. AS for docherty hes a fuckin junkie who deserves to die. Why mick jones and morrissey love them i have no idea. Even heroes make mistakes. I saw them at leeds two years ago and they were one of the worst live acts i have ever seen.

    crap!

  4. they are playing the lemon tree at the end of the month. cant remember the date though but if you swing past the lemon tree there should be posters or if you check out the stranglers website.

My aunt lives on Burnside crescent. What a small world.

  5. morrissey i love and the single is okay. the tracks from the album i heard live last year were great but i fear he hasnt had anything interesting to say for a while. and thats not a bad thing. i am a huge smiths morrissey fan but i shalnt let my love for him cloud the fact that stuff aint good or not interesting. the first of the gang to die is awsome

  6. If anyone is interested our ep is out at Fopp and One up now. Its mighty fine if i say so myself. We also have an acoustic gig at the belmont on the 26th and were having a big gig/party at the Bongo Club in Edinburgh on June 7th. Well worth going as the other bands that are supporting us are great. Wake the president from Glasgow and Little Moscow from fife. Fine indeed.

    Hastalavista

  7. I think hes still looking youthfull to some extent. when i saw him last year at the barrowlands he was looking great and removed his shirt several times which would have been quite embarrasingfor someone of his age but not for morrissey. Dont really know where im going with this........

  8. he has a new album coming out and singles out this monday.

as for the jibe that without marr hes shit i think is totally unfounded as the majority of his solo albums are great although not as high quality as the smiths output of the 80s.
