forgot about them - their gamera/cliff dweller society 12" is excellent too. both tracks have 10m+ running times.

is it really 1 track though? i know the cd reissue contains just one track but i thought the original release had discrete "songs". maybe one the older posters can enlighten us.
young gods - summer eyes, is worth mentioning in this thread as well.

none better, though these do try:
bark psychosis - scum
main-thirst
faust-krautrock
sun ra-space is the place
i have a few pharaoh sanders cd's where the 10 minute tracks are the short ones. very nice too.

you may be on to something there. i think i'll have to invest in some ear protection before i go to another gig.

I did think it was a very subdued crown, on the whole , very quiet (but a good clap in between songs)...it's just my luck that mrs Yap and her pals wanted to talk about how "cute" the boys were, what they were wearing, what they were doing over the weekend etc...
must have been my lucky night, for once. it was a subdued crowd, though that is hardly unusual up here.

fucking right, one of the best musical gigs I've been to ...
Once again, I get a bunch of fuckers who insist on talking all the way through a gig , standing right next to me...
maybe it's just me but i thought it was okay, at best. the magnificents were pretty awful imo.
curiously, it was one of the rare occasions where i didn't really notice people talking through the gig either.
