    Kandyman says:

"What was wrong with the McCoy era y'bastard?"

    ROTFL

Did you know that Bassets tried to sue the BBC for that episode because of Kandymans liking to a certain product of theirs? LOL

And I liked Silvestor McCoy, if the BBC hadn't let the show degenerate (ie advertised and had it on its original saturday slot), McCoy could have developed his character more, I always liked the way McCoys Doctor would manipulate the events around him to his needs.

  2. havent seen any of the origonals (considering i wasnt alive when they were broadcast before...) i missed half of it' date=' so i didnt really know what was going on

Thats one of the good points for the new series. You can enjoy it without knowing any of the background on Doctor Who. And if they continue into a second/third series etc, they can bring back more of the old monsters, to please the older fans.

Adventure of a liftime? Too right :D

  3. If there's one medium that catches the SOUL of music then its only one thing. VINYL. I've only been collecting vinyl for the last 3-4 years, and it means a heck of alot to me.

Try an experiment. Listen to Never Mind The Bollocks by The Sex Pistols on CD then vinyl. I can tell you that it sounds better on vinyl, honestly. Besides its better to listen to older albums on vinyl, experiencing them the same way as they were first released.

  4. I agree, pure class film, including an excellent use of classical music. The sequel is ok, not a patch on the original, and makes a political statement (mmm 9:11 perhaps). Its worth watching though just to see what happens with the characters from the first film.

    Peace

  7. I have no idea who the support is......

I do however have a feeling that Instruction will be across soon as support to one of two bands that have confirmed Moshulu. HiFH is one but the other I cannot announce.

May 14th..... Expect to see Psydoll's mate Rob down the front with the old folks.

(Adam ...please do not post the band's name in a thread until it is announced....cheers lovie!)

*Prays Instruction. (note the full stop  ) Are supporting*

  8. ycni:m are amazing live! I've seen them thrice times since the support slot for Million Dead, and they just get better and better. Standout live tracks? All Roads To Fault, The Problem, I Am Connecting Flight, 17 and beleive it or not Schteeve. Rapt Dept also works reallly well as an opening song for their setlist.

In short I'll be there front row
