  3. revenge, can be fun. But you have to wonder if it's the right thing to do. Why are you doing the revenge and is it legal.

I am all for revenge. But there have been a few times I had taken that route and realised that it was not the best route. On the flip side, I have missed golden opportunities.

It is a strategic tool, to be wielded carefully.

If you must, Strike hard, strike fast and strike the final blow.

  4. Hey don't know if you have sorted that already but press the variable button next to assign, you can quick assign 8 different effects, sounds like you have a quick assign set to delay and ctr pedal. I'm going to get a usb to midi cable today so i can connect to the free gt editor software, edit all patches on the computer and download other peoples settings, sounds good eh. good luck

Yeah I tried posting last night about getting this sorted. Found how to sort it a couple of days ago. where can I get this Free GT editor?

  5. Right I have a Boss GT8, and I have found something that is annoying the crap out of me.

I have a patch set-up that I want to have reverb assigned to the CTL pedal. The probleme is that every time I push the CTL both reverb and delay come on. I have tried to turn the delay off but this only seems to swap from "Delay off, Reverb on" to "Delay on, Reverb off".

The only solution I have found is to turn the delay setting down. But the fact the light is still there is annoying:swearing: :swearing: :swearing: :swearing:. It's like it's mocking me :finger: .

Before anyone asks I have read the novel of a manual, to no avail.

    Any Ideas???????

  6. I'm now living a few miles from Banchory.

I got me a new toy coming soon. Managed to source a Boss GT8 online for 229 (234 inc p&p), 120 less than bruce millers could do it for. Should be arriving soon (hopefully, need it for the 03/01/07).

If you ever are on bebo you can see pictures of my cottage.

Just got to find an amp at a reasonable price and then I'm back to being fully stocked.

  7. Presidents Of The USA

PUSA played the Lemon tree last night(as many of you will know) and they kicked ass. Cant think of anything else to add ither than they were fantastic and very funny aswell, and im glad there back. :band:

  8. is the sonicstage anything like magic gate? i have an old MD player thatt does atrac (a real networks thing not sonys they just bought the rights to use it). The sony magiv gate prog would only allow you to check a song out to a max of 2 discs, if you wanted to do another you had to find the disc and "check" the song back in. s it the same for sonicstage???

  9. You forgot it has line in and out connections as well headphones out and wire remote + headphones out...thats 4 x 3.5mm connectors! Means you can record spur of the moment guitar ideas straight to it...woo!

As for CD I thought it was 320kbps at 44.4KHz?

    thats true i did.

Buy "i-RIVER" not "i-POD" or the "i-POD Photo"

  10. My NW-HD5

Sorry :nono: its a sony

Have ripped everything as 320k MP3s

Thats far beyond a cd it is around 144k that a cd operates

    Will give the ATRACs

Realplayer used to do this format as it own one. Not bad actually. About as good as a WMA

SonicStage doesn't seem that bad - having heard bad things' date=' was expecting the worst - think that maybe it's evolved from the dog it once was. Stated battery life for MP3s is 30 hours.[/quote']

The batt life is great , especially considering the machine has a screen.

I bought the i-RIVER H320 a month ago and its fantastic. Not only does it do, mp3/WMA/OGG(vorbis)/WAV it does movies, tells the time, FM radio (from witch you can record at any bitrate), voice records, picture viewer and it can display ebooks.

Not only that but it can br connected to another device (i.e. digital camera, mp3 players, external hard drives) via its host port and you can browes the files on hte other devices.

comes with 2 mics (internal and external sennheiser) and a set of Sennheiser ear phones.

for 179.99, thats a f*****g bargin. The h340 can do all this aswell it just has double the storage and is a little fatter

I could rant all day about t but i have to go to work to pay for the i-RIVER
