Another problem with just having a myspace/social network site is a lot of companies block these sites.
We can't get on any social networking sites at my work, so if I'm online and trying to get info on a band I've got to use there official site, if they've got one!

I thought Frightened Rabbit were amazing! Loved Head Rolls Off, The Twist and Poke. I quite liked We Were Promised Jetpacks, hadn't heard any of their songs before so didn't really know what to expect. Little Kicks were alright too.
Only problem was trying to buy drink!! One drink per person unless the people you were buying for were with you at the bar!! That was an absolute joke.

The Hazy Janes
Hailing from Dundee, The Hazey Janes, whose debut album Hotel Radio (2006) garnered great support from the national music press and radio, are ready for their comeback. After spending most of 2007 in the States with pit stops at the SXSW festival and Hoboken to record with producer John Agnello (The Hold Steady, Dinosaur Jnr), May 2008 sees them release New York, the first single off their second album. Formed in 2003, The Hazey Janes music is a rich and original fusion of folk, country rock and power-pop, reminiscent of Big Star and Velvet Crush. The bands songwriting and performance is characterised by warm and melodious three-part harmonies, which blend the influences of a strong Scottish musical tradition and a yearning for warm American climes.
A life-affirming debutThe Hazey Janes may just be the best haggis-powered country rockers yet. - Mojo

See... how good are we. We've added Lorenzo Snow Collective to the first Gun Club Line Up at no extra cost.
I'd pay 6 just to see Lorenzo Snow Collective, one of Aberdeen's best bands in my opinon!
Looking forward to seeing The Jinx too, heard good things about them.

Would it be ok if we used one of you guitar amps?
I'm already bringing my one but it would save Kev bringing his one threw on the train from Elgin.

The Shakes are playing so are Ghost of Bongo, I think they are headlining. There are two other bands on as well but I can't remember who they are.
