lucky I'd just downloaded 4od last week then!...

I'd last spoken to Al (Fuckle Public) and he was working on some solo stuff...there was talk of him and "other jim" (?) looking for a certain glasgow drummer who's band had split last year...cough cough *aereogramme

Well, it's me on my lonesome now as Jim is moving to Japan...

I believe it was you who mentioned that drummer, nae me!

  2. Hi there. Just thought i would let you folk know that our album 'Bucko' is out on general release as of today. I am told that it should be avaliable in One Up and HMV, and also oline from the Smalltown America site here http://www.smalltownamerica.co.uk/product.php/STA026/Bucko

It was the Rock Sound Magazine album of the month in the March issue... and apparently you Aberdeen types think that we're the best international act so get out there and buy it! I assure you that you wont be disappointed!

    Over and out

  3. Hello there people. The Session in Scotland are re-broadcasting the session we did over the summer tonight between 7:30 and 9:00 on Radio One Scotland. So if you happen to be beside a wireless in that time frame this evening then tune in if you fancy doing so.

Our single 'kittens got claws' is also out at the moment in most good record shops. I don't know if anyone has found it in Aberdeen yet so let me know if you, or someone you know has.

Failing that, we're in the current issue of Rocksound and have a song from our single on the cd so you should be able to find that.

  4. I have put together a page on this subject at www.the-byre.com under the heading 'Success in Music'.

    Interesting stuff!

ha ha! are you serious about this bit? 'But even at the very beginning, it pays to create a concept in your lighting, no matter how modest your budget may be. Try such tricks as putting some PAR 56 lights on the floor behind the drummer, or even tape torch lights onto the lead guitar'

tape torch lights on the lead guitar (!)

i might just try that one!
