Wicked, cant't wait. my first ever gig was the smiths at the capital theater, which is now fuckin chicago rock,( bastards wrecked that building,) in 1883. was cracking.

As craig said, it would be better getting a starter pack, for 1 it cheap and cherful, and 2 you might get pist off we learning and give up and it means you havna spent to much mula. I go for the squire starter pack from rnb or bruce millars, you might get it cheaper in the january sales, good luck dude

bass amps

hay dude, my bass player uses a ashdown head and wat ever cab he can get his hands on. He also goes through a sans amp which you can set aswell to get different tones and punsheness. I think it deppends on what kind o guitar you got aswell. Should take your guitar down when tryin out the different amps, it will give ya a clearer picture as to wat you might need, good luck man.

Think its a mixture of things, there wantin flood lights so the kiddez can play at nite, the local oldies want some one to keep it clean and i think the builders havent been paid yet coz they went over budget.
