  1. dave innes!!! he crushes the drumming world of aberdeen.

nick scholey is a ridiulously talented musical mind, with insane rythmic understanding! and yes he was in useful idiot, however was the bassist. danny carey impersonations created by ryan mackintosh, who also is insane.

robbie mackie, of enrapture, pretty much cant be described in words. has an awesome understanding of complex drumming, taking inspiration, and infulenced by some of the most complex and talented drummers in the world. he was crushing the drums in a stupendous fashion when he was only 15, and has continued to accellerate at a tremendous rate. sick to think how good can he get???

  2. Will be getting 2cd version of 10' date='000 days early next month, then going to see them june 11. Should be a belter. Support is still unconfirmed, all it says on the ticket is tool + guests. Might be an act from the festivals they are doing in the uk, only time will tell :)[/quote']

awesome man, me and some mates are heading down aswell!! is it on the sunday?? i thought it was on the friday.

  3. double kick drums or reading' date='to me they are self indulgent and often detract from playing in a group situation but can be fun on your own.[/quote']

rubbish, u hit every other drum with two beaters, why not hit the bass drum with two aswell

  4. I don't think they can beat the undertow artwork...

I must admit' date=' I was a bit like "oh, that's lateralus part two then" when I saw the art.[/quote']

this is nothing like lateralus. if u look at alex greys artwork u will see artwork resembling lateralus and this new one before he even knew tool. and as for the packaging for lateralus each individual layer is a life sized painting, i think there are about 8 of them. these are paintings!! not computer graphics.

  5. Whether his other wrtwork is "emmence"(sic) or not is beside the point - the album cover looks a bit uninspiring. Hopefully' date=' the packaging will do it some justice.

It reminds me of that giant head thing that Monty Burns gave The Simpsons and you see in their basement.[/quote']

your comment is beside the point, that aint wot i said, i said the effort put into it is emmence

  6. A lot of the shapes ect also seem to be pretty similar to Lateralus.

Quite disapointing really' date=' considering this is meant to be a 'genre defining' (if you believe the stuff posted on here ect...) release, they could have at least put a bit more thought into the artwork.[/quote']

more effort? have u seen this guys artwork?? theres some crazy mind blowing stuff!! the amount of effort is emmence.

    go to www.alexgrey.com

  7. u think tool are boring??? how can this be when there is so much going on at once. my guess is u are an ignorant pratt who has heard a few songs in the background at ur mates and thought they were "boring". ignorance is bliss. or maybe one of ur other mates were like, nah tool are boring. ooh ooh i am a sheep, i think tool are boring also

    tool=amazing, intrecit, mind blowing

non tool fans - fuck off

  8. If not taking stands be sure to take sleeves felts and wing-screws. There are rarely any at venues and your cymbals could seriously suffer if you don't use them.

exactly, no need to take whole cymbol stands, thats is just creating shit to lug about with you, 4 or 5 double braces stands arent exactly very light

  9. I had that Dream Theatre album in my hand in town on Saturday' date=' but put it back on the shelf incase it was shit!

    [/quote']

not possible.all of dream theaters albums are amazing! each one different. scenes from a memory:metropolis pt 2 is fuckin emmence! so if u havent heard any before, buy that!!
