yeah, was happy with Eternal Sunshine... winning best Original Screenplay, I thought Million Dollar Baby was a bit average too...The Aviator was absolutely stunning in terms of scope and direction. I'm really disappointed that Scorcese didn't win best director....but on the flipside chuffed that Cate Blanchett won Best Supporting Actress for her absolutely briliant turn as Katherine Hepburn.

What does Scorcese have to do to get a Directing Oscar? Not that Clint Eastwood isn't excellent as well' date=' but goddamn it, it's getting ridiculous now.

he simply hasnt done the best film when the moment came

he should have waited till next year :p
