i am finding it very hard to get into the new album

I haven't heard the finished lp apart from one track, what dont you like about it?

Didn't even get a free copy for my troubles, and they mispelled my name. :swearing:

its not that i dont like it

i just had very high hopes for it, its probably not as immediate as previous stuff (which may be down to me nto listening to it enough). also i think soem of the songs are too long particularly the opener "lord ronald"

i feel it ponders a bit too much

but perhaps it will grow on me

I love the new album and the gig was ace. Agree it's not as immediate as Farewell Sorrow' date=' but then it's an album of murder ballads.[/quote']

Out of interest, how is the song writing credited?

is it like this: traditional arranged by roberts, oldham etc etc?

Where exactly was this album recorded? "A studio in Aberdeenshire"' date=' there are loads! Was it at Crathes?[/quote']

At the home of Delicate AWOL, or The Haven as I like to call it!

Hopefully not exactly in Huntly, that's not very romantic, but rather amongst "fahr the Twinflooer blooms". I was going to buy it for this reason alone, despite the 2-star review in the Guardian. Of course, I want to hear the delicate embellishment of the enigmatic Zeenat Aman as well!

Edit: Near Forgue, perfect!

It's a wonderous place, for creativity, for escaping things, for losing ones mind as well.

:D

My non part is like marching flautist's in the background for about 30 seconds.
