jonty84 Posted February 11, 2005 Report Share Posted February 11, 2005 I've been to oxegen every year since 2002 now, (when it was called witnness), and its fucking awesome. Never been to TITP so can't say what its like, but its on the same weekend. Basically what happens is the bands that play on the Saturday in Ireland play in Scotland on the Sunday and vice versa. They basically swap for either day. Occassionally theres a few changes in lineup - ie. last year Oxegen got The Cure whilst TITP got the Pixies. The reason for this is that Manchester's Move Festival at Old Trafford also happens to be over the same weekend.If you can, go to Oxegen, brilliant atmosphere, lots of Guinness, lots of lovely Irish ladies.You knows it baby!
