psydoll Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 The Locust put its foot down on media/entertainment industry consolidation, refusing to play in Clear Channel-owned venues on the upcoming Ipecac Records Geek tour.The post-hardcore act has announced it'll sit out the dates of the tour in Detroit, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and San Francisco to protest Clear Channel control of venues and media. The other bands on the tour -- Fantomas and Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant -- will play as scheduled.
