A.Pel
I'm thinking about taking higher chemistry like.I got a 2 in my standard grade estimate, although had to work shit hard to get it.Not naturally talented at chemistry. But need to get a B in it at least in order to go to Belfast for Dentistry. Is it possible? Daniel
sure, if you pass at credit level then you should consider advancing onto a higher, why belfast?
Intravenous
I think it's possible. I managed to get an A in Chemistry without doing any work so I think it's possible for anyone to get a B if they work hard enough at it.
HarleyQuinn
chemistry sucks...take human biology!! man i love that class!!
Bodast
Yeah take chemistry.. For me it was one of those subjects where you don't understand what's going on but you try to learn it, and then at some point in about February it all gets pretty easy. Now Advanced Higher... But if you can take human bio instead, go for it! It's so much easier!
Heather_Small
I got a 2 in SG chemistry but I struggled with it so I did it as an Int 2 in 5th year and got an A then did the higher in 6th year. Still got a D cos I did fuck all in 6th year. would say that unless you need to do adv higher then going via int 2 would prob be a good move
Paranoid Android
i found chemistry to be one of the harder highers that i done, butif you can take it give it a go, if oyu work hard you should be able to get a B. Id doesn't matter what you get in standard grade because half of it turns out to be lies when you get to higher.

Paulscoconutass
I ended up with a 'B' in higher, the satisfaction of getting that for what's unquestionably one of the toughest courses was brilliant. Although it was pretty hard work, definately worth it.
Guest *alex*
I did it at Standard Grade and got a 2, it was the HARDEST subject of them all and the one i did worst at, i didn't even blink before saying NO to higher *shudders*
therandomblonde
I took int2 in 5th year and am doing higher now and i think it's helped me alot, so if you're staying for 6th i'd recommend doing int2, you get more time to go over things and ask questions. I think the only reason i'm good at Chemistry is because my teacher is awesome at explaining things, i think if i had another teacher i would've failed.
