rach
For those of you in Glasgow.....the Shack and Trash burnt down this morning!Ah well....at least they were both crap night clubs (although the building was pretty!)Incidently, there was a fire in the Royal as well (apparently - at least there were firemen and one of the doctors said there had been a fire). Couldn't have been serious though as they left all the patients (well the babies in my ward) sleeping.....
Rachie
The shack burnt down??? It was a pretty building... What happened?EDIT:Did a search to answer my own question... *click*While I never went to either club I had sat upon the steps of the shack during the day many a time between rehearsals at Adelaides across the road. That's quite a shame, it's such a fantastic building.

Charlotte
The shack had it's 4th birthday on thursday night. How ironic. The shack was shit anyway. Long live the garage.
Michael MacLennan
The shack had it's 4th birthday on thursday night. How ironic. The shack was shit anyway. Long live the garage.Good god, I went to the Shack once last year, can't remember why, had something to do with a birthday, jesus it was horrible. The thought of it brings me out in a rash. Can't say it being razed to the ground brings out feelings of any adverse nature. The Garage, though, is also a place I'd rather forget... Rachie
They painted it? I just thought it was something to do with oxidation of the sandstone or whatever. How on earth were they allowed to do that to an A-Listed building?

The Ghost Of Fudge
i walked past the shack on the way to the garage last night through a pungent cloud of smoke. then i walked past it again a few hours later on the way to tuts, and the firemen were still up their ladders pouring water in the windows.i never had the pleasure of the shack, but it looked shit. Chicken!
I use to get text messages from The Shack all the time saying things about free entries and what was on that night. It was annoying.I reckon that'll stop now. Thank god.
