ragudave
Anyone heard the Flaming Lip's studio version of Seven Nation Army. Tis rather nice IMHO... Tis forthcoming on a Late Night Tales compilation.Dave
Birdman
You have spelt "Its" wrong twice but something tells me you already know this.(not birdman)
Graham
I remember hearing a studio version of it they did for the live lounge radio one thing over a year ago and thought it was pretty good. It wasn't at all like the live version they played for a bit, but I don't know if its the same version. I really liked the live one as well though. KarmaTsunami
the live version was ace, flaming lips owned at TITP. would be pretty cool to hear a studio version...

The only band I saw that year that put on a good show on an outdoor stage. I was really looking forward to seeing them in King Tut's Tent, but that was just amazing. Guest neil ex
Did you see Pixies this year? That was a hell of a lot of fun!
HeinzHines
Yeah i saw the pixies, although musically outstanding, dont you think they lacked all inspiration? I swear i could just see dollar signs rolling around in their eyes, strokes did a blinding (if not well stoned!) ending and i think it was a good decision all round to put them on last. Guest neil ex
I think some people thought that Frank Black looked like he didn't want to be there, but I don't think that was the case at all. They all looked like they were having fun, and Kim smiled throughout the entire set.. Didn't see The Strokes, went to see Chemical Brothers in the Slam Tent instead. Was ace! HeinzHines
Think she was smiling cause she had just been launched off her other label!!!!Kinda wish i had seen chemical brothers, they were really good 3 or 4 years back, missed massive attack aswell, although i hear their set was full of pretensious bullshit! Guest neil ex
Yeah I would have loved to have seen Massive Attack. Have heard stories about them not being too good live.

Graham
they murdered Knives Out live' date=' though.bastards.....[/quote']I actually prefer the Flaming Lips' version of Knives Out. Nice piano part. Although I heard it on the Flight Test EP and not live. On the same EP there is also a cover of Kyle Minogue's Can't Get You Out of My Head.
