HUGE NEW YEARS GIG ANNOUNCED

It has just been announced that Patrol will be headlining this years Hogmanay party that takes place in George Square in Glasgow on the 31st December. The New Years bash will attract up to 25,000 revellers to see in 2005 and will require passes to attend. In 2003 these passes were snapped up within a few weeks, and with such a high-profile act headlining this year it is expected they will go even quicker.

The boys will perform twice on the night before and then after midnight and more acts will be announced in the coming weeks. The Glasgow event is organised by the city council and will be hosted by Radio Clyde DJ George Bowie from 8.30pm on December 31 with Festivities ending at 1.30am.

The passes for the Hogmanay show go on sale at 10am on Saturday, November 13, Tickets are priced 2.50 and are limited to a maximum of four per household. They can be bought by credit and debit card from the hotline on 0870 333 6205 , from Ticketmaster centres, or at the Virgin Megastores in Argyle Street and Buchanan Street. They will also be available from www.scotland.ticketmaster.co.uk .
