TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
New reccurd from The Sidekicks. It's super, super nice. http://sidekicksohio.bandcamp.com/album/runners-in-the-nerved-world A bit less rockin' than the last. This one's a bit more spacey, floaty, airy, I dunno. NICE SONGS.This is really good. 'Hinterland' by Lonelady is out now. It's easily one of the best albums I've heard in the last few years. Every track is stunning. You can stream it here:http://www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2015/mar/18/lonelady-hinterland-exclusive-album-streamSo is this. I like good albums. Soda Jerk
I much prefer them to shit albums. This has been rocking my world this week: https://chokeup.bandcamp.com/album/black-coffee-bad-habits
kirsten
I am going to listen to all of those because it's okay to judge albums by their covers, don't let anybody tell you anything different, and I think I would enjoy them based on that. I have mostly been listening to these recently. (Photaes!)Mac from Superchunk's record that I've mentioned a billion times on here already. Turns out it's really excellent. More synthy and 80s-sounding than I'm used to with his vocals, but it works. Sounds like a really nice soundtrack to a cool film that none of us have seen. Sometimes the vocals remind me of the Vaselines, sometimes The Male Nurse and that is okay. Such a grower but I'm glad that it has turned out to be so good. Woodsinho
This here album of Nevermind covers by a bunch of really neat bands is worth putting in your ears if you're into that kind of thing: Torche's version of In Bloom is particularly rad. Skacel
Looks nice, I'm totally non-vinyl though as I can't justify having the setup with a kid Thinking of selling the vinyl I do have as well. http://noisey.vice.com/blog/mewithoutyou-pale-horses-album-stream

waltz
The Ducktails album is absolutely exceptional. I've also been listening to my boys Pinact's album a lot, it's hugely underrated. Should be big big big

kirsten
Petite Noir's EP released at the start of the year was brilliant and now he's got a full album out. It is great. I missed him in Glasgow last night due to being Johnny Nae-Cash but the new one sounds like it'd be massive live.Spotify. kirsten
There's a new Jeffrey Lewis album (new band, JL & Los Bolts) called Manhattan that was released the other day. I haven't listened to it yet but I can guarantee it will be brilliant. He's playing two shows in Scotland in December.Saturday December 12th - CCA, GlasgowSunday December 13th - The Mash House Sadly nae ABZ date. The show last year at the Moorings was possibly the best I've seen him. He is just the greatest and I love him very much. Cool.

Highlights are 'Support Tour' and 'The Pigeon'. The latter is his Jewish reworking of Poe's The Raven that he used to do on tour, so glad it's been recorded! "Quoth the Pigeon, 'Bupkis'." Rustie's especially is a nice return to form.I'm not sure about the new Grimes album. I really, really want to like it but it's not ticking the boxes for me at the moment, I will persevere though, hopefully it's a grower. I loved her single "Go", if the album had been mostly like that I'd've been all over it like stink on a monkey!
