Murrr
Jack Colback set to sign for Newcastle. Good to see we're finally filling the void left by Cabaye's departure with a like-for-like replacement of equal calibre. I can't wait to see such a quality player in the black and white! Adam Easy Wishes
I quite like Colback - he'll do well at Newcastle I think, if the fans can get over his red and white past.
Murrr
Reckon he's rank average myself. Why not just keep Dan Gosling if this is the type of signing we're gonna make?
Adam Easy Wishes
Colback is better than Gosling. Has a bit more bite to his game IMO. I'm glad I put my thoughts on paper (internet paper) though, he'll end up an important player for you lads. Plus, imagine the Geordie banter with S-Taylz! Camie
Newcastle are rumoured to be interested in signing Ross McCormack. Not sure if that would be risky for them or not, especially not being tested in EPLL. Seems strange because he isn't French. Adam Easy Wishes
Diego Costa has had, and passed, a medical at Chelsea today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27704137
Murrr
I'm looking forward to seeing him play in England. Seems like a bit of a nutcase, and is undoubtedly a very good footballer. Perfect combo. Courtois back to Atleti for another year as a sweetener?

Paranoid Android
Apparently Man United were about to sign Arda Turan last summer but pulled out at the last minute and went with Fellaini instead. MEGALOLZ I don't care if it's not true. I'm going to believe and enjoy it.
Captain America
Arsenal fan groups had their meeting with Gazidis the other night and he made it pretty clear that Cesc isn't the priority for Arsenal. Guess Chelski is the realistic destination for him.

Soda Jerk
Apparently Man United were about to sign Arda Turan last summer but pulled out at the last minute and went with Fellaini instead. MEGALOLZ I don't care if it's not true. I'm going to believe and enjoy it. Seems to be what happened with Thiago and Herrera as well. The club wanted Thiago and Herrera, who had been scouted prior to Moyes' arrival, but Moyes allegedly poured cold water on both deals and went with Fellaini. Now Moyes is gone, and United are stuck with Fellaini, forever and ever.
Captain America
Talksport always seem to jump the gun. It is looking likely though. Cesc doesn't strike me as a Mourinho player but maybe the Premier League experience is a plus he's looking at.
Moose
I guess he'll be a direct replacement for Lampard. Not bad. Would prefer he went to United.

givemeasmile
Didn't Cesc publicly criticise Mourinho while he was coach at Madrid? I don't claim to know too much about the level of control Ahbrahmovic exerts over his managers and transfer policy, but it is likely that Maurinho didn't sanction the transfer himself? Adam Easy Wishes
I too wanted Cesc at United, would have been pretty wanktastic to have him sitting deep and feeding Mata, Rooney and his best mate RvP.

Captain America
Lot of Arsenal fans going nuts about how he's a club legend etc. I don't think he did enough for the club in his time there to be called a legend. But considering how he rose up so young to play for many years and become captain. This is going to hurt more to see than RVP or any of the Citeh mercenaries combined. Soda Jerk
Didn't Cesc publicly criticise Mourinho while he was coach at Madrid? They had a bit of a spat, I remember. Also whilst at Arsenal, Cesc said words to the effect of "If I ever wear a Chelsea shirt, you have permission to kill me".
