The Milner
They bloody posted it on TwitterAye, but your not allowed to re-post official fixture lists on forums. I'm sure it wont matter a huge amount on here but its worth knowing.
MattJimF
Twitter is basically a massive forum, so they've shot themselves in the foot.
The Milner
Aye but the SPFL can post them, as they own the rights to them. Your not allowed to replicate them, thats the issue.

The Milner
I've never heard of this being a thing. Here's the rules for the FA, the SFA follow something very similar, http://www.inbrief.co.uk/football-law/reproduce-fa-fixtures-on-website.htm

It's just a list of when things are happening. I would't have even considered such a thing could be copyrighted. Their team of lawyers are clearly not very heavy handed with it, as fixture lists are currently being posted everywhere, by naughty boys, raising awareness of when football matches are. SEND THEM TO JAIL.
The Milner
Its an odd one. It only came to light as we were banned from posting them on the football manager forums, and warned that we would be banned if we continued posting them. I guess it would depend on the size of your forum, bigger ones probably have to be a bit more careful than smaller ones like this.
scottyboy
Doubt the fixtures as such can be copyrighted, it'll be that spreadsheet done by the SPL specifically. Imagine it's just s blanket policy of not postin copyrighted stuff, rather than any real fear.
Chris
It cropped up a couple of years ago when the SPL made a thing of it. Was all a bit embarrassing really. Not even sure a fixture list is actually copyrightable, the image above is obviously copyright by whoever created it but there shouldn't be any way to prevent someone typing up the list in their own text. In fact the European court agrees with mehttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17218968
Captain America
Really nice start for Van Gaal at Man United. They should be top after 6 games going into their first real test against Everton in week 7.

Captain America
Ballague said he has a pre contract in Qatar. I didn't believe it because it's Ballague but maybe it is true. Maybe Enrique actually wants to change Barca, ditching Xavi is the biggest step in doing that.
The Milner
I had read it was him who wanted to leave, rather than Barca wanting him out. I think they actually want him to stay on and coach, but he wants more time with his family and some time away from the club. Either way its the end of an era. Soda Jerk
They've lost Xavi, and two players who were once expected to be "Xavi's heir" in Thiago and Fabregas, all in the space of 12 months. Rakitic is a good signing. They probably need at least one more though. Possibly Koke?
Captain America
I thought Rakatic was bought because they couldn't get Koke. What other options are there? Pogba?

Alkaline
I thought Rakatic was bought because they couldn't get Koke. What other options are there? Pogba?Rakitic is an attacking midfielder whereas Koke is a deep lying playmaker and Pogba is a typical centre midfielder. Three completely different players. Soda Jerk
Rakitic can play deeper, and has plenty. He's incredibly versatile. Pogba can play anywhere too. He's played wide midfield, next to Pirlo, behind the striker. He is a machine.

Pogba is young enough to get moved about midfield but he seems to play centre mid more often than anything else.
Soda Jerk
Rakitic has played deep for Sevilla too, and did alot for Schalke. He looks a complete player. Seems to defend as well as he attacks. With Barca's attack, he could play a very central role for them, unless they are going to pull Iniesta back into Xavi's role and push Rakitic up. He may well play centre mid for Barca but it's not what he's known for.
