meiklejohn
So I have two overdrive pedals on my board, a light bluesy one and a mid crunchy, bad company/free sorta sound. Last night at band practice there were a few songs that were just too clean sounding when I played them, I needed more gain but I wouldn't use it enough to justify buying another pedal just for those two songs or whatever. So my question is...Any recommendations for a dual overdrive pedal? something I can get a free/bad company sound on one side and an extra gain stage that's bordering on distortion on the other? Preferably nothing that's gonna cost be an arm and a leg! Thanks in advance!

James Broonbreed
Fulltone GT500 is pretty good for old school drive but with plenty of flexibility for higher gain.
MikeyEB
I had a T-Rex double distortion for ages, it was really good. I used to set one channel for light OD and the other for distortion.

Steviepearce
Did you not just try running one pedal in front of the other. On occasions I use my bb, Shiba drive and ep all at once. Edited May 23, 2014 by Steviepearce
