Tuned into ITV to watch France v Switzerland and guess what they were still banging on about England. Whilst I realise the national team of Engerland should be given sufficient and appropriate coverage is it necessary to bang on and on and on about them all the time. Nowadays we also get just about any ex footballer (the majority of whom failed in world cups themselves) trumping their opinions and quite frankly I find the whole two year cycle getting beyond unbearable. France were fantastic tonight but fair play to the Swiss who kept going. They then came and barely tried against Mexico. Against Croatia their captain got sent off for stupidly and pointlessly elbowing a player in the back which led to a collapse and huge defeat and by the end of the match they were fighting with each other.
