Soda Jerk
I've been recording a load of doomy sludge/post-metal noise for the past few weeks. Here's one I uploaded today. I've got a few more that I'm almost done with too.http://vangelisagain.bandcamp.com It was originally 3 unfinished songs that didn't really go anywhere, but I binded the guts of them together with a recurring riff or two. No vocals. Singing is for choirboys. Give it a spin, if you've got 10 mins to spare. It's a long 'un. colb
Aye min - guitars good, nicely layered and drums mighty - no need for singing. Enjoyed it, would have preferred 3 separate songs though - I prefer my post-metal doom pop song length.
Soda Jerk
Cheers for the feedback, and thanks for listening. I did originally record it as two full songs, and had an unfinished idea left over, but they didn't seem to go anywhere on their own. The recurring riffs seemed to tie them together. I won't be making a habit of 10 minute epics, though I am partial to Doom that feels like it lasts forever. The next recordings, which are almost done, will be shorter. Soda Jerk
I've tried to start a band of this ilk two or three times. It never pans out, so I'm just doing it on my own for now. Interested parties, drummers especially, should get in touch.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
This reminds me of Bleach (the Nirvana album) in parts. I think that this is a good thing.

I think that this is a good thing. That is quite unexpected, but certainly a compliment. That record has serious tone. Thanks for listening. Lyin Ryan
Had a listen yesterday teatime, I like that you achieved a good "heavy heavy" sound, and I like that you dont try and make it go all "blastbeat", Good riffing stuff Joda
Stroopy121
Would never have called it myself - but I totally hear the Bleach comparison. DOOM! xx
