There's little expertise involved. Just a bit of knowhow. Easily obtainable knowhow. Anything beyond that, like fret work and electronics, is out of my league. I think in my time there the only thing I didn't do was re-route a guitar for a sustainer setup as there wasn't nearly enough space.
