Flights
Those are pretty low wattage amps. What kinda thing you looking for?
meiklejohn
Something I can maybe get up to 2-3 volume wise without my neighbours calling the police. There seems to be no taper in those two amps. 0-loud as fuck seems to be about all I can get out it, no happy medium. Any ideas what I should be looking at? meiklejohn
A little practice amp with a nice sound, got my hotrod deluxe for gigs, this is purely for playing in the flat. Headphones are no good
triggs
Try a micro cube or small blackstar if you want some valves in there
Old Gold
I reckon even a really low wattage tube amp is going to out-blast a Marshall MG30.
James Broonbreed
Tiny terror on 7 watts is pretty tough to get past 1. I'd go for 1 watt if I was you

Flights
A 5 watt tube amp will be so much louder than a 30 watt solid state combo.Surely the MG30 can't be ASBO loud? Champ 30's aren't particularly loud either. Only way I can see you getting any quieter is one of those plug in vox amp things, that or headphones. Alan Badge
I've got a vox ac4 that goes down too 1/4 watt sounds great.
triggs
Just cos it's valve doesn't have to be loud my gigging and practice amp are 1 in the same
