levijeans7
I've just got a new Hughes and kettmer tubemeister head and 1x12 cab. When I'm playing(guitars a fender 50's telecaster) there's a really high pitched squeal as soon as I stop playing. I've tried various other cables etc and it seems to be definetely the amp or the guitar. My cables are fine and that. After googling I seen something about a loose cool can cause this or something? Anyone have any ideas or have a clue how to stop the squealing. It's doing my hied in! Cheers

Soda Jerk
As above. Squealy, microphonic feedback is often a popped pre-amp valve. Have you tried another guitar with it?
